Since 2000, a conservation and restoration workshop has operated in the Tusculum, the Archaeological Museum’s branch building in Salona. It primarily processes ceramic materials found during archeological excavations and compiles technical and field documentation.
In 2017, the workshop was expanded to include the cottage and yard behind the Tusculum. It has been equipped with machinery and tools for restoration works on movable stone monuments on site. Objects discovered during rescue archaeological excavations in the Salona area are received and stored in the Tusculum.
